Super Bowl Saturday: Women’s Football in Cincinnati

On Saturday, February 8, the Cincinnati Cougars attended Super Bowl Saturday: Women’s Football in Cincinnati at the Forest Park Library. The Cougars shared information on the team, the players, and the Women’s Football Alliance.

The Cougars were also joined by Rene Thompson (founder of The Black Chain Co) and Russ Crawford (author of “Women’s American Football: Breaking Barriers On and Off the Gridiron”). Thompson shared her inspiring story about being the only girl on an all boys football team at the age of 12, and Crawford talked about the history of women’s football all over the world.
